This beautiful example of a rare 1950’s Palitoy doll is in excellent condition, she comes complete with her original wavy mohair wig and original eyelashes that frame her royal blue eyes – her face is just beautiful. She wears her original dress ( which may need a gentle rinse) along with replaced vintage/new panties and white socks along with pink Cinderella shoes she is the smaller sister of Palitoy’s Rita type doll which measures 28 inches. This doll has a wonderful delicate wax – like appearance which I have seen occasionally on some of the smaller Palitoy dolls. She is not a walker doll and still has her original rubber stringing band in place – maybe this could be replaced at some time as she prefers to sit but will stay standing with the help of a stand ( I can on request restring her for no additional cost ). Because she is in such excellent condition I preferred to leave her on her original stringing. She has no damage that I can see and is a hard part for me as I have had her in my collection for many years. She does have some small age marks on one of her legs and one of her arms also where her the elastic on her original pants left a mark. These are hard to spot and because the doll was so mint otherwise I have never tried to remove them, they may come off but I cant be certain. With this in mind I have priced her very reasonably for such a beautiful and rare doll.
