A very pretty, very early ten inch Pedigree Delite Baby doll with a moulded hairstyle made in the late 1940’s. Baby “Hazel” is in excellent condition and doesn’t appear to have been played with. She has painted sleeping blue eyes and has the sought after intaglio eyebrows which make her the doll known amongst collectors as the “Worrier” because of the concerned look the eyebrows give her face. A nice example of this now rare doll, she is wearing the dress she came to me in made from nylon in the 1950’s this has matching pants. The doll has some minor fading and this shows where her original sunsuit was worn on her body. Hazel is marked simply “Made in England” as many of the smaller Pedigree dolls were.
