This is a doll that was sold in Woolworths in the 1950’s under the “Winfield ” name and they were known as “Little Beauty” dolls. However these lovely dolls were actually made by the Famous Pedigree Doll Company. She has not been played with at all and her clothes are still crisp and new. Her box has a tear and shows some wear. She has Blonde “Saran hair ” which is rooted so that little girls could wash and set their dolls hair and bright blue sleeping eyes. This sweet little Girl is just as she was sold – her legs could probably do with a wipe but I will leave that to her new Mummy. P.S. The shoes on these dolls were not marked Pedigree but are Pedigree. One of the press studs (snaps ) has come loose but both parts are present so it is an easy fix.
