A beautiful example of an 11inch Roddy toddler doll in not played with condition from my own collection. This happy smiling face Roddy toddler doll has wonderful original colouring, her original wig is in original minty condition. She has blue sleeping eyes with hard plastic eyelashes which was the norm for these dolls. Woolworths sold this doll for 5/- alongside the Pedigree 10 inch toddlers which were also sold for 5/- most little girls in the 1950’s would have owned at least one of these reasonable and well made dolls. She is wearing her an original 1950’s Faerie Glen Royal Blue and white dress which shows wear and has the top button missing (if I had one small enough I would have replaced it). She also has blue Cinderella Vintage/ new shoes and white vintage/new pantees. A really lovely character doll that looks as if she has just stepped out of a 1950′ s Woolworths shop.
