This doll is from my own collection and was made in the late 1950’s she was bought in Woolworths alongside the 10 inch Pedigree dolls as the companies were very much in completion with each other. These later dolls had hard plastic heads and blown plastic bodies both the Roddy and the Pedigree to keep prices down. This little darling is in minty condition and wearing her original mint outfit of polished cotton dress and matching Cat hat and white cotton pants she is just as she was sold and has not been played with. These transitional dolls are very hard to find as not many were made. A lovely doll in wonderful original condition.
