This is a wonderful example of an early Pedigree Walker one of the earliest walker dolls that Pedigree made. She is 21 inch walker doll. Her condition for an early doll is very good indeed and she has no damage that I can see. I don’t think this doll has seen much play – but she has been played with. She is “Saucy Walker” and Pedigree borrowed her mould from the American company “Ideal” in the 1950’s she has her original early rayon plaits wig the fringe looks to have had a trim ( and is ruffled ) at sometime in her life. Apart from that it is still in its wonderful plaits I put pure silk Vintage ribbons in them when she first cam to me. Her blue flirty, sleeping eyes have their original eyelashes there is some very minor loss to these. She is wearing her original labelled Pedigree Dress which has never been washed and her original pants which are white cotton. She has been in my collection for some years as I just loved her charming, cheeky face. She has rosy cheeks, knees and backs of hands there is some minor fading to her face. I had to put replacement shoes and socks on when I bought her as hers were missing.These too are Vintage old shop stock. Her walking action is smooth, so is her sitting action and her metal parts are like new.
